Ali Hussein Hazem was one of the Ph.D candidates in the Department of Philology of the University of Patras. His main supervisor was Professor Angela Ralli and the other two Professors Theodore Markopoulos and Abdul Rahman Altakhaineh im Supervisingcommittee. The topic of the Ph.D thesis was Aspects of Compounds in Modern Standard Arabic. Ali started his study in 2018 and graduated in 2024. He has more than 20 articles in a high reputation journals. Now, Ali Hussein Hazem is an assistant Professor of Linguistics and the Head of the Department of English at the University of Al-Hamdaniya, Iraq.
