Zoi PIPERIGKOU – currently an associate faculty member and a member of the Laboratory of Biochemistry at the Department of Chemistry, University of Patras – is a graduate of the University of Patras holding an MSc and a PhD from the Department of Chemistry.

During the 1st International Symposium WOMEN+ focusing on Greek women scientists active in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics), she received an Honorary Award for an early career female scientist in STEM after PhD in the field of Chemistry.
