Efthimia (Mema) KEFALEA – Senior Vice President, Clearing Design – Eurex Clearing AG – is a graduate of the University of Patras holding a diploma from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatcs (CEID). Her husband, Yannis Flokos, is also a graduate of the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics (CEID), University of Patras.
Before starting her career at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (1999), she worked as a researcher and engineer at the Neuroinformatics Institute, Bochum University with Prof. Dr. Christoph von der Malsburg, a leading professor in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence, contributing to projects of the Federal Republic of Germany’s Research Centre for Aeronautics and Space (DLR).
